Caring for Your Pouf Covers

By VendRoam Travel · May 15, 2025 · 3 min read

Each fabric has its own care needs. Here is how to keep every VendRoam cover looking its best.

Polyester and outdoor covers

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then line dry. The weather-resistant coating lasts through many washes. Spot-clean spills quickly with a damp cloth.

Velvet covers

Hand wash or machine wash cold on delicate, inside out. Air dry to protect the pile. Brush gently with a soft cloth to restore sheen.

Jute covers

Spot clean only. Jute does not love water. Use a dry brush to remove dust and a damp cloth for stains. Avoid soaking, which can weaken natural fibers.

Leather covers

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Use a leather conditioner every few months to keep it supple. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Knit covers

Hand wash cold with a gentle detergent and lay flat to dry. Reshape while damp. Never wring or twist; squeeze gently instead.

With the right care, your pouf covers will look great for years.
